Weekly's.... kind of behind no time these days

We have a very happy little girl, other than having a cold for the last 2 months she's doing really good. Growing like a week at 4 1/2 months she's already wearing some 9 month clothes! Yikes

Ms. A was sleeping though the night until I went back to work and she started daycare we are still adjusting to the new schedule hoping we get there soon. She now laugh's and is close to rolling over. I can't believe how quickly she is changing and growing!

Happy Halloween

I am rather behind on this blog. Going back to work a couple of weeks ago is taking time to adjust to.

So we had a great Halloween, I was still on leave from work so i managed to go up to Dylan's school and help out with the school party and see the parade. It had to be indoor since mother nature decided to make this the most wet and cold Halloween in a while.

Before Halloween we picked and carved our pumpkins.

The night of Halloween was wet and cold so we didn't take Annabelle trick or treating but Zoe and Dylan had a blast.

2 months already

We had out 2 month check up yesterday check up went great, she's 12lbs 3 oz & 23 1/2 inch long so growing like a weed. The rest of the appointement did not go so well Annabelle did not enjoy her shots and spent the rest of the day sleeping or needing cuddles.

12 years ago......

 I honestly can not believe that this picture was taken 12 years ago my sweet baby Zoe was just a few months old.

Fast forward 12 years to this beautiful young lady, so proud of her.

Homemade Applesauce...yes please!

I had every intention of making an apple pie with the apples we picked a couple of weekends ago but I am really the only one that eats it, and thats bad news dor the diet.

So here is my applesauce instead. so easy and delicious.

Annabelle is still sleeping really well 6-8 hours a night... loving it!

It was cold this morning so we stayed in our PJ's for a while. These are my favorite ones, they have ruffles on the butt! 

Apple picking .... my FAVORITE fall activity.

I absolutely love going out to Eckerts to pick apples in the fall. I love that they let you try before you buy, you get to ride around on a tractor and soak in the countryside. But the thing i love most about apple picking is the fun family memories that for me last a life time. This was our first big day out as a family and we had a great time, all 3 kids were very well behaved. 

Dylan said he was too old to go apple picking and didn't want to go, but for a kid that didn't want to go he sure did have a great time! As always the tractor ride was his favorite part.

5 Weeks

5 weeks today.
I am not sure if it's me that's older and wiser or if she's just laid back and an easy going baby. (my guess is the latter) Life so far with our newest member is great.  Annabelle goes to bed around 10 pm wakes up around 3.30 - 4 am for a bottle and then sleeps until it's time to take Dylan to the bus stop. I've hesitated talking about how well she sleeps and generally what an easy baby she seems to be, let's hope I haven't jinxed us!

Volleyball and soccer time

It's fall sport time, Zoe had her first volleyball game and Dylan played his first soccer game. Both games were great Annabelle even got to go to Dylan's soccer game, although all was rather hectic, Brian wasn't there luckily my Mum is in town and was there to help out. I'd forgotten what it was like taking a baby out of the house jeez. I need to prepare better for next weekends game.

Pinterest

As much as I am enjoying my time off with Annabelle, I some what struggle with having little to no structure in my day and also not feeling like I've accomplished anything. The day flies by and my biggest accomplishment is sometimes the fact that I took a shower and maybe did a load of laundry.

I love Pinterest they have so many fantastic ideas and I've pinned hundreds with the intent on at least trying a few of them; but time does not always allow and sometimes I just forget about them. So during one of Annabelle's midnight feedings I picked out several "Pins" that I am actually going to attempt. 

Today I made Chicken Pillows, not the healthiest recipe in the world but they were pretty darn good even if I do say so myself. The best part about them was the fact that everyone enjoyed eating them and asked me to make them again! 

 

Next on the list organizing the office and making something to store Annabelle's hair bows.

4 weeks

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks since we became a family of 5!

We are all doing great the kids adore their little sister. Daisy has finally adjusted to her although still wants to lick her and play with all her toys, not sure that will ever change. Brian and I are great Annabelle is really a very good baby sleeps allot and so far seems very laid back.

Newborn Pictures

A few weeks ago when Annabelle was almost 2 weeks old we had some newborn pictures taken. I really wanted to get a good picture to use for Annabelle's birth announcement and also get a good picture of the 3 kids together. We got so much more than I ever expected and we couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned, out the photographer did a fabulous job.

3 weeks

She's 3 weeks already, she wasn't very happy the first time we tried her 3 week picture. 

 

But a nap and 3oz of milk later here she is.

We have 2 babies in the house

Yep thats Daisy with a pacifier in her mouth!! Words fail me..... I did however think it was pretty darn funny.

2 Weeks Old

2 weeks today!

Took Annabelle for her 2 week check up today. She's 8lbs 14 oz and 20 3/4 inch so she's not missing any meals.
